Schon lange hatte ich es vor, gestern habe ich sie endlich gemacht. Meine neuen Abschminkpads die ich wiederverwenden kann und keine Wattepads mehr benötige. Gut für die Umwelt und den Geldbeutel.

Für meine Abschminkpads habe ich von Babylove Mulltücher aus Bambusfasern im DM-Markt besorgt und ein altes Badehandtuch, das an den Ecken schon ausgefranst war, verwendet. Die Mulltücher sind schön weich und angenehm auf der Haut und für die Abschminkseite bestens geeignet. Da das Handtuch schon lange bei uns in Gebrauch ist, kann ich diese Seite als Peeling Seite und zu großflächigen Reinigen im Gesicht verwenden.

Das Mulltuch und das Handtuch in gleich große Quadrate zuschneiden

Als Erstes habe ich das Mulltuch und das Handtuch in gleich große Quadrate geschnitten, ich habe mich für 10×10 cm entschieden. Für Quadrate habe ich mich entschieden, weil ich so am wenigsten Verschnitt habe.

Nun habe ich immer ein Mulltuch Quadrat mit einem Handtuchquadrat vernäht, ist ein bisschen Fleißarbeit, aber einfach erledigt.

Mit der Maschine geht es schnell 🙂

Ich habe mich für den Overlock-Stich meiner Maschine entschieden, sollte deine Maschine diesen Stich nicht haben, so geht auch ein großer Zickzack-Stich. Wenn du eine Overlock-Maschine besitzt, kannst du dir das Zuschneiden sparen und direkt die beiden Stoffe zusammen nähen und in Quadrate schneiden.

Fertig – eine Seite Mulltuch, die andere Handtuch

Gestern habe ich erstmal 30 Abschminkpads genäht und noch ganz viel Stoff übrig. Die Pads bewahre ich in einem Wäschesack auf. In einen weiteren Wäschesack stecke ich die gebrauchten Pads, so können sie dann bei der nächsten Wäsche direkt in die Maschine.
